Brant Cooper of Moves the Needle runs an activity about leadership behaviors that support change and innovation.
In July, we brought together 15 innovation and R&D leaders from large organizations in Minneapolis. The gathering was hosted at Target’s headquarters.
Our roundtables are off-the-record, primarily because they’re designed to enable a group of peers to openly discuss issues they face. At this gathering, excutives disucssed why companies fail at innovation and how they can become hardwired for change. Other topics of conversation included:
- How to get leaders to participate in innovation
- Balancing execution with exploration
- Leadership behaviors that support and foster innovation.
Special thanks to Moves the Needle for co-hosting the event.
If you’re a corporate innovation, strategy, or R&D leader and you’d like to join an upcoming roundtable, you can request an invite here. Our next roundtable gatherings will be in Chicago on September 26th and Boston on November 7th.
