In this short video, Alex Slawsby of InnoLead interviews Gina O’Connor, Professor of Innovation Management at Babson College, about the three tiers of innovation metrics.
O’Connor says her research suggests companies should create metrics at the strategic level; the portfolio level; and the domain level. She discusses funding and governance for innovation as well. An overall goal: innovationn leaders need to show that they “have actually created new platforms of business that are new enough and different enough that are renewing our organization,” he says.
