Senior Vice President/Innovation, Ipsos
Basic Function
- Manages a client service group responsible for both revenues and profits.

- Proactively monitors client issues, communicates to account team, and develops strategies to build satisfaction.
- Assures that team is selling / positioning Novaction’s products according to corporate guidelines/ strategy.
- Identifies unmet client needs and leads team to create solutions. Develops new products or NP ideas.
- Is familiar with products from other Ipsos business units. Effectively suggests to team / client. Introduces Ipsos colleagues to client contacts as appropriate.
- Collects feedback on other Ipsos business units and shares with colleagues in a productive manner. Helps generate solutions.
Reports
- Ensures that reports/presentation represent the best solution to clients’ marketing and business issues.
- Solicits feedback, identifies issues, and develops solutions as appropriate to generate high client satisfaction.
- Monitors study status and identifies/resolves issues as needed.
- Identifies examples of best practice (standard as well as new or unusual ways to present data) and shares with team).
Volume Forecasting
- Is a recognized expert. Helps teams find / create solutions to unusual client issues as needed
- Looks across studies to identify patterns / general learning.
- Leads team to develop / maintain standard protocols.
- Identifies examples of best practice (standard as well as new or unusual ways to present data) and shares with team).
- Suggests changes / improvements in standard protocols as appropriate.

- Financial

- Management / Supervision
- Structures assignments and roles of staff to stretch their capabilities and development.
- Develops / adjusts job descriptions, performance management paperwork and process to fit team needs / requirements.
- Identifies problems in team’s management or areas of opportunity and develops / implements new processes / systems to address.
- Mentors less experienced staff members within direct department to understand issues and guide their overall professional development.
- Mentors individuals outside business unit as appropriate. ?-Estimates short and long-term staffing requirements.
Required Skills
- B.S. or B.A. Degree or equivalent (MBA, MMR or related advanced degree preferred)
- Ten or more years experience in marketing research or marketing.
- Supplier-side experience in an account management role is required. Some client-side experience desirable.
- Expert understanding of new product forecasting and advanced research methods (e.g., factor analysis, regression, time series modeling) is required.
- Working knowledge of common software (e.g. excel, word, etc.) and learn new analytical computer software is required.

This person will drive and shape the innovation process, work collaboratively with the key areas of the organization and blaze the trail driving innovative thinking, explore enhancements to customer experience, encourage employee engagement, create the roadmap for the evaluation of ideas, and shepherd ideas from conception to consumption. This new role is responsible for leading and inspiring the organization in crafting innovative ideas, impeccable solutions, and cultivating relationships.

- 7+ years experience in product development and design, project management, business development and reengineering
