Customer relationship management firm Salesforce has deployed AI throughout its product set, and has codified a set of five “Trusted AI Principles” that are embedded in the business. The company tracked the evolution of its practices, and then unveiled an AI Maturity Model that outlines the stages of practice development and why they matter to businesses. As would be expected, the model goes from “Ad Hoc” to “Optimized,” and the Salesforce team provides a roadmap for operationalizing the principles.
